I could say that Switzer Studios is one of Ireland's leading creative design agency, specializing in all things visual. Damien Switzer believes that design matters. Whether producing a new corporate brand, a national advertising campaign or a business card, the principle is the same. It has to be visual. Unique. Mesmerizing. Unforgettable. Design is my passion. So who am I?

Who is Damien Switzer? I am old enough to have started to go grey around the edges, I call them marks of success during my years in the visual communications business. I was schooled in the art of visual creation and communication in the 'NCAD' National College of Art and Design and by some of the worlds premier animators in Senior College Ballyfermot. Coming from this illustration background in the 90's I was introduced to my now old friend 'photoshop', WOW! I embraced the digital age and worked my way from junior to senior designer in the design industry and then worked in every aspect of the print industry to truly understand the processes from conception to the finished article.

Now armed with a wealth of knowledge and experience that few designers can boast, I left the stress of big business behind me. I set up SWITZERSTUDIOS 'on the day the government announced the country was officially in a recession'. Five years ago I believe I would have been know as a 'Celtic tiger cub' but now the term is 'recession baby'. But business has been great from day one, less stress, more time with clients and family. Oh! and no big overheads to pass on to customers. Being self employed is the best move I've ever made.

I rely completely on referrals, the fact that I am booming in a recession! this should be testament enough to my abilities.

Staff

Just me, myself and I and my box of tricks, which is sufficient 90% of the time, however I have a wide and varied team of freelance designers and programmers who I can turn to when needed.

Clients

I would like to be able to show and list all of my work but Im afraid I cant, as I do quite a bit of trade work for other design companies but what is in my portfolio on the website and there plenty, are my own clients, call me if you want to add your name to that list!
